The Inner Goddess and Fill Your Face Aesthetics are currently closed in accordance with UK Government restrictions. Kent is currently a Tier 4 (stay at home) area, which requires us to close with very few exceptions. The next review of the COVID-19 tiers is due to take place 30/12/2020. We hope to see you again soon.
We have undertaken a full risk assessment to make sure we can comply with the UK Government guidance for managing the risk of COVID-19. We are COVID secure.
There are a number of changes that we have made at The Inner Goddess and Fill Your Face Aesthetics to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, these are in line with the recommendations made by Public Health England, Save Face and the aesthetics industry.
Some of the changes and recommendations are listed below to give you an idea of what to expect when you book your appointment and attend our clinic.
- A few days before your appointment you will receive a text or email with a link to a COVID-19 pre-screening wellbeing checklist and an additional consent to treatment during COVID-19 pandemic form. You can take a look at these forms here if you wish. Kelly asks that you complete these before attending for your appointment, your treatment may be delayed without this information. It is important that you provide your correct contact details when making your booking to ensure this information reaches you.
- You may receive a phone or video call from Kelly approximately 24 hours before your appointment. We have been advised to undertake aesthetic consultations remotely where possible, to reduce the amount of face to face contact time spent in clinic. This will be a good opportunity for you to discuss any concerns or queries with Kelly before your appointment.
- Any video consultations will be undertaken using video call software that provides end to end encryption and as such is secure. If you have any concerns about confidentiality please don't hesitate to contact Kelly to discuss further.
- If you feel unwell or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 please do not attend the clinic for your appointment. Please call Kelly to reschedule your appointment for another time.
- We ask that you attend your appointment alone. We do not have the facility for people to wait in the reception area, this is to reduce the risk to our staff and you. All appointments are for the named person only, we are unable to offer shared appointments with partners or friends etc.
- Please do not arrive early for your appointment. We ask you to wait in your vehicle or outside. Please wait until your appointment time to enter the clinic. You will go straight through to the treatment room on arrival.
- Please wear minimal or no makeup when attending for your treatment. This helps to reduce the contact time between yourself and Kelly.
- Please do not bring a large amount of personal belongings/shopping etc with you for your appointment. We ask you to keep excess items in your vehicle and to place keys, phone, coats and bag into a plastic tray on arrival (this will remain in the room with you). This is to reduce risk to you and us. The tray will be cleaned between clients.
- You will be asked to sanitise your hands on arrival in the clinic, there will be a small hand cleaning station with alcohol hand gel by the door. When in the clinic please allow us to open the doors etc for you
- Unfortunately, there will not be toilet facilities available for use by our clients at this time. The additional cleaning protocol required make this impractical.
- We are not able to provide refreshments at this time. Please bring your own water bottle if you think you will need a drink during your treatment.
- Where possible, pay for your treatment by card or remotely. Kelly has a card terminal that will be cleaned between clients. If you prefer to use BACS transfer or PayPal, Kelly can provide payment details upon request.
- Kelly will be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for your treatment; including a disposable plastic apron, gloves, eye protection and a surgical mask. Conversation is difficult whilst wearing a mask, so please understand Kelly may not be as chatty as usual. She also needs to keep contact time to a minimum, so whilst she won’t rush your treatment, she will endeavour to be as efficient as possible.
- Please wear a face-covering when attending your appointment. This can be a non-surgical fabric face mask. We have some fabric masks available for purchase at clinic if needed.
- For clients having lip and nose procedures who will be unable to wear a face mask throughout their treatment, we will provide a mouthwash (clinisept+) to use as a gargle immediately before the procedure. This is a precaution and may help to reduce the risk of transmission in asymptomatic clients.
- All aesthetic review appointments will be undertaken remotely by video call initially. If any further treatment is necessary, this will be arranged as required.
We understand these changes may feel a bit impersonal and not the experience you are accustomed to but they are necessary to protect both you and Kelly as much as possible. Without implementing these changes we would not be able to re-open safely.
