Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are a relatively new treatment concept, which have become very popular over the last few years due to the incredible results they can achieve.  Skin boosters are an injectable treatment designed to deliver deep skin hydration.

Skin booster treatments all contain some form of hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a substance that occurs naturally within the skin and is capable of holding large amounts of moisture in the skin.  As we age, hyaluronic acid naturally depletes causing the skin to look lined, loose and dryer.

Skin booster treatments appeal particularly to clients who want to look fresh and natural with their anti-ageing treatments.  They may not achieve the dramatic results that are often associated with dermal fillers or botulinum toxin but they can help to smooth out lines and wrinkles and add subtle volume by gently plumping the skin and increasing the hydration levels within the skin.

The most common uses of skin boosters are for facial rejuvenation. However, this is a versatile treatment that can be used to treat many different skin areas e.g. neck, décolleté, backs of the hands. They can also be used on difficult to treat areas, like tightening the skin under the chin, the upper inner arms, inner thighs, knees and abdomen. They are safe for all skin types, ages and genders.
